There’s lightning in the air at the 100-year-old power plant and modern science centre for the whole family in the heart of Tallinn, Estonia. Energy Discovery Centre features daily lightning shows, static electricity demonstrations, over 100 hands-on exhibits, Planetarium screenings and shows. The Centre invites its visitors to learn about electricity, the history of energy production, and have fun with different physical phenomena.

Energy Discovery Centre’s mission as an informal learning environment is to motivate children to study science and to advance the teaching of STEM subjects. The Centre offers educational programmes for kindergarten children up to 16–17-year-olds, and works in close contact with the Estonian school network, supporting the national curricula.
